About Rume
Rume is a visual editing layer for the codebase you already have — and the agent you already use. It's built by Aerolune.
The problem
Non-developers work on sites constantly — a few pixels here, a font swap, a cramped section — but every change is a token-hungry, round-tripping prompt. Designers lean on developers; developers become the bottleneck for what is often just arithmetic.
Editing tools exist, but they're hosted editors that need a copy of your repo — acting on a screenshot of a DOM, not your source. Rume is different: it runs on your machine, edits your actual files, and hands the judgment calls to the agent you already trust.
Our approach
- Click any element on your real page and change it directly — 0 tokens
- Rewrites go straight to source: inline style, CSS, Tailwind, or static HTML
- The rest goes to your own agent as one precise task — exact file, exact line
- Local by design. Your code and keys never leave your machine
Who we are
Rume is an Aerolune project. Aerolune builds developer tools that put the person back in charge — agents that work for you, not a platform that works on your behalf with a copy of your work.
